It was four years ago in early November when we had our first event in the area. 35 or so brave souls showed up at a pizza place in Paradise, and that was the humbled beginnings of the North State Unusual Treasure Seekers (N.U.T.S.) We are celebrating our fourth year as a group and invite all geocachers and their families, or those interested in geocaching to join us. This is an afternoon get together with food and drink.
This is our fourth annual get together and an opportunity to get together and share stories and comraderie. We seem to be running low on freebee places to hold our events with such a large membership, but BluCruz came through with this location that will hopefully hold all of us. The celebration is from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday November 17th at "Knee Knockers Restaurant" at 13915 South Park Dr. in Magalia (just above Paradise). The price is $9 to $10 a plate and that includes beverage. We can select from their menu so individual food choices are available for everyone. They will start taking food orders at 1:15 p.m. There will be the usual "cache" raffle and 50/50 "cash" raffle, updates on GWVI, hand out of the "got GW VI?" t-shirts for those who have ordered them, and lots of great fun, food, and frivality. Hope ya'll can join us there.
PLEASE, when you log your "will attend" or "note", let us know how many there will be in your party so the owners can prepare with sufficient staff to serve us.
