A quick and easy cache in a quiet location.
I was out walking when I found this place, what struck me was how peaceful and quiet it was. Once you've found the cache, i'd recommend just climbing over, then sitting on the nearby stile while you sign the logbook. When I was here placing the cache, there wasn't a soul about and the fish were jumping in the lake.
It's a small 0.7ltr container, with a small amount of space for swaps. It started off with our first ever geocoin, a screw stress toy and a lego pack.
There are many ways to get to the cache, the suggested parking is at N52 16.915 W001 59.353. Just park on the grass verge and don't block the farmers gate. This way there are no stiles to cross, just follow the bridleway for about 1/4 mile to the cache.
If you have the time i'd recommend continuing the walk, and there is also a good pub called the Brook Inn at nearby Elcocks Brook.
