Geocache Description:

This is a coin cache located in and around the St. Mary's Church cemetary in New Trier, Minnesota. It was placed with the permission of the Parish Priest.

Mattias "Math" Siebenaler emigrated to America from Luxemborg in the mid-19th century. Family lore says he stowed away on an ocean liner for the transAtlantic journey to New York. He found his way to Minnesota, eventually settling on a homestead near the town of New Trier, Minnesota.

Math married twice, first to his friend Maria, and after her death at the age of 38 to Katherine Beljong. In total, they raised 12 children on a farm in the area. Late in life, Math served in the Minnesota House of Representatives, but died after being crushed by a wagon in St. Paul.

Math is the Great, Great, Great Grandfather of a couple of young geocachers in the area and this cache will require you to find him, and (funny...) do some math at his grave!

To solve this cache, go to the listed coordinates and find the clue to the final resting place of Mattias Siebenaler. Using the original coordinates, add the last 2 digits of the year he died to the last digits of the NORTH coordinates. Then add to the last digits of the WEST coordinates the age Math would have been had he lived for 1 month and 10 more days.

Follow those coordinates to a cache full of interesting coins...
