Great views from this cache site located near the end of the Craignish Peninsular
The Craignish Peninsular is one of theclarkes' favourite places on the west coast of Scotland. Fanstastic views and spectacular sunsets to be seen and the light is different every time. On the day of setting up the cache we saw seals, heron and buzzards (and maybe the occasional mermaid!). Park at the obvious spot at the end of the road and then enjoy the walking towards Craignish Point. The cache is located with tremendous views (weather permitting!) towards the Correvreckan whirlpool between Jura and Scarba (binoculars recommended). The bizarre looking 'stac na h-lolaire' is also within view. Take care (particularly in icy conditions) as the cache site is quite close to the edge of the cliff.
