Geocache Description:

Proudly made in the USA!!

Have children who put everything in their mouths (our youngest is 6, our oldest is 12, and this is STILL a concern for us!)? Scared of products "made in China"? Then this is the cache for you!

We had a reaaaalllly hard time finding things made in the USA around our house... almost everything is made in China! So search hard for those American products, because that is all that is allowed in this cache!

ABOUT THE LOCATION:

The in-laws recently stayed at Aarchway Inn, and we thought it was a spiffin' good hotel, especially for those with kids. The back of the hotel is pretty cool and we never would have known had they not stayed there.

To get to the cache, which is in an ammo can, park in the Aarchway Inn parking lot. There is a fence with a gate; go through the gate and follow the trail for about 10-15 mins. It winds quite a bit through wetlands. NOTE: Spring is SOGGY!!! Eventually you'll get to a copse of trees (cottonwoods?) and then the search begins! SANDALS NOT RECOMMENDED!

NOTE **SUMMER '08** -- There used to be a trail mown into the weeds... if it is gone, then you're on your own for how to get there! We've moved, so I can't go check on it, but any hardy adventurers are welcome to let me know what it is like. I upped the terrain to a five, just in case (oh yeah, and it IS a wetland -- soggy! and mosquito-y!).
