Located near the Arkansas border between the Red River and Texas close to a Boat Ramp. In the area are alot of Horse Apple trees which are wickedly thorny and so this cache requires very careful retrieval and relocation technique.
A cammo'd pill bottle that is bigger than a 35mm film canister, this cache is in tribute to those Arkansas Razorbacks.
There are plenty of horse apple here in fall. Horse apples are from Bois D'Arc trees. They are especially thorny and you can't eat the fruit. They do smell good and make centerpieces and decorations that last. I also hear that they repel insects - especially cockroaches. You put them whole where the bugs are, but for best results, cut them into slices and put them where you need to (I've never done it but my mawmaw did). Some people are allergic to horse apples, me, I don't like them at all, we used to throw them at each other when we were young. I wouldn't let the kiddos or dogs too close to this one.
