Geocache Description:

One of Conway's oldest cemeteries. Closes at 6 daily.

We were surprised to find that the beautiful old cemetery didn't have a cache. We found a nice spot and gave it one. This place closes at 6 each evening.

The 24-acre Oak Grove Cemetery was established in 1880. The cemetery includes the final resting places for more than 3,000 of Conway’s residents and has more than 100 gravesites for Civil War soldiers and other service veterans. One interesting resident is Tommy "Pork Chop" Markham. He was the drummer for Conway Twitty for many years. His marker is a large, flat, black marble stone with etched picture of "Chops" playing the drums and the inscription "Playing in the big band now."

The container is a peanut butter jar.

Congratulations to majii for First to Find!
