This cache is located along the Capricorn Highway between Emerald and Alpha. The cache is of the typical snap-lock type and getting to the cache is very easy.
The Drummond Range, an offshoot of the Great Dividing Range, rises 755 m above sea level and forms a rugged natural barrier between the Central Highlands and the Central Western Plains.
This particular site is a lookout over part of the Drummond Range. There is a picnic table and a plaque dedicated to the opening of the Drummond Range Project. Most importantly, the view is impressive.
