The Jebel Hafit Travel Bug Hotel is hidden on the side of the mountain in a non-restricted area. It's a rather rocky drive closer to the cache and might be a bit of a challenge for 2x4's, but use your own discretion as to how far you'd like to park from the cache. We were able to park approximately 60m from the cache location with the 4x4. Reaching this cache requires hardly any climbing and is easily accessible even for children.
The Jebel Hafit TB Hotel is home to geocaching trackable items only.
It is important to note that there should always be at least one TB and one Coin in this cache at all times. Therefore, please remember to trade evenly or up! Trade a travel bug for a travel bug - Trade a coin for a coin - Take nothing, Leave nothing.
PS: Due to the launch of the Rat Race from this cache (see below), there would initially be plenty TB's in the TB Hotel. Should it be that there is only one TB left in the cache and it just so happens to be a Rat taking part in the race, the "even trade" mentioned above will still apply.
RAT RACE:
The Jebel Hafit Travel Bug hotel is also currently "base station" to a RAT RACE. A colony of 12 RAT Travel Bugs are currently in a race from the Jebel Hafit Travel Bug Hotel to the turnaround point, the " Cape Town TB Hotel - WC" in South Africa (GC114RH). Once it's completed this leg of the race, Rats can then return home to this cache. The first Rat to make it back to the Jebel Hafit TB Hotel will be declared the winner of this race and receive Trackables as a winning prize as well as a mystery prize. In the (unfortunate) event of a tie, the winning parties will split the prize; however, it's highly unlikely to happen that we'll have two winners...

Most important Rat Race Rules:
1. Rat owners can't at any time during the race move their own Travel Bug (Rat).
2. Rats MUST physically visit the Travel Bug Hotel in Cape Town.
3. The cacher who drops your Rat in the TB Hotel in Cape Town will not be allowed to retrieve it from the cache to move it along again. Thus, another cacher must retrieve it.
4. Any reckless rats who do not abide by the rules will be disqualified.
