This cache, located between Zeals and Penselwood on the Somerset-Wiltshire border, is designed to compliment the longer Pen Pits cache, which is accessible from the same parking area. It can of course be visited as a separate entity, in which case it should take no more than 30 minutes to complete. Some of the paths can become pretty muddy – you’ve been warned!
From the parking on Coombe Street at N51º 04.854 W002º 19.977 (or thereabouts – the GPS coverage isn’t all that good under the trees). Head up either of the two footpaths, positioned at either end of the lay-by. From these follow your GPSr to the cache location at N51º 04.996 W002º 20.268 – OS Explorer 142 may also be useful.
