Geocache Description:

A small tree root hide in an old neglected cemetery.

Union Cemetery on Liberty Road, near the border of Solon & Bentlyville. ***Parking along Liberty road just at the entrance to this old cemetery. ***Stay out of nearby residents' driveways.***

As pointed out by the Ohara Cache crew,"The Driveway next to the Cemetary is Private Property. The Building beyond the gates is a Private residence. The owner was very nice but didn't seem happy when I explained what I was doing and that other people might be coming by to find this cache"

In other words, use common sense, stay off of private property.....

Many of the old stones are toppled over, the chain has fallen from several of the corner markers.

Many of the eligible headstones pre-date the civil war, it would be interesting to see if there are veterans of that conflict resting here.

Maybe some of the residents in the nearby high rent district will take more interest in this piece of history...
