Camelflage
When we started geocaching, our daughter was 6 years old. Children have a way of misunderstanding or mispronouncing certain words; for example "hopital" instead of "hospital", "cimmanon" instead of "cinnamon". We're sure that every family has their own mispronounced favorites. Our absolute favorite was our daughter's. When we explained to her that we were geocaching, or treasure hunting, for a "camouflaged" container, she repeated the word as "camelflaged". She used that term quite often, and we thought it was quite cute. It was only a few months later, when she heard others say that word, she asked us if they had made a mistake. After we stopped laughing, we explained ourselves more clearly. She now no longer uses that word, but we miss it. So, this cache has been placed for her.
Since this is a micro, bring your own writing implement. Please be careful when retrieving it and replace it as carefully.
Note: The area where it is located often gets flooded at the beginning of Spring, after the snow melts.
