On a level spot off the trail of a spectacular point fit for an Eagle that overlooks the Manistee River.
This cache is located at a spot we have named Eagles Point. This cache is the first one ever placed by Boy Scout Troop 147 of Holland, MI. We are the "Eagle Makers". It was placed on Oct. 21, 2007 by 10 scouts and 5 adults. We placed this near the South end of the trail after taking 2 days to hike from the Seaton Creek trailhead south along the river to the Red Bridge. We had great weather and enjoyed our hike on the trail.
The items we left in the cache represent our Troop and the fact that we were "Hiking" on the trail. Once you find the hiding spot, it should be easy to see.
