IgnotusPeverell: Greetings. I'm IgnotusPeverell, one of the volunteer reviewers for geocaches submitted to Geocaching.com.

I can't find any recent responses from bbirdsell about maintaining this cache which makes it appear they are either unwilling or unable to maintain this geocache. Cache maintenance includes: replacing broken or missing containers, replacing full or wet logs, updating any changes to the text, updating coordinates, removing the needs maintenance attributes, enabling the listing, and more. Check out all of a geocache owner's responsibilities here. This cache is being archived, and removed from the active cache listings.

Geocache Description:

A little over 1 mile from the Ebudito Trailhead...Up hill.

This was the 2nd of 2 caches that I set out today.(Boones JCI Cache was the first) This one was dedicated to all the folks like myself who hike out to a cache only to find it is a Micro that is several feet from the coords.(Those drive me crazy!) This is in a LARGE Ammo box and should be very close to the cords listed.
Now for the fun part, many years ago the Albuquerque Area had Outlaws and Cut throats that would terrorize the out skirts of town. A particularly nasty hombre named Charles Steele was just such a person. Several times he eluded poses and would run to the embudito canyon area and disappear. While out hiking one day I stumbled across this hideout and decided that one-day I would set out a geocache close by for other folks to check out. Could this be the spot that old Charles would go to? No one will ever know, but it is fun speculating. :)
Please do not disturb the hideout. Tread lightly and please leave the cache as you found it.
I have placed several new Geocoins to start their new trek across the country.
