Small micro - too small for a pencil. But if you forget to bring your own writing utensil, you can purchase one just a short walk away. The cache container is not particularly water-tight, so be sure to replace the cap securely.
We noticed this unexpectedly scenic spot near a local chain store. We've only driven by here about 12 million times, and finally opened our eyes. Hildie the geo-pup really enjoyed it too!
