Across the road from what is called 'The Big Flow'.
This is located north of West Branch at the area the locals call The Big Flow. This 9" pipe use to be full of water from the artesian spring below but the years have played a toll on it. Sediment and rocks have restricted the flow and what's remaining is this bit of what it was. It's drinkable and safe. Many come out to fill containers with this fresh water. Just up the road about a quarter of a mile to the west is a place called Ogemaw Spring that is unique also. It's waters are crystal clear and drinkable, too. The spot just further to the west yet was a town during the lumbering era. There was a vote held and the city of West Branch became the county seat by just barely beating out Ogemaw Springs. Enjoy the area. Also, bring something to write with!!!!!
Congrats to 'Bambi-Liz' for the FTF !!!!!
DO NOT MOVE THE CONTAINER TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION !!
