UBC Geograd: Changed my mind. I am going to use this container for a new cache closer to home where I can more easily check on it. This one has been around for a long time, and it's time to open up the location for a new hide.

A quick cache in Edmonton Grade Park. This park was once a CPR rail line. Container replaced December 8, 2012 after being muggled.
On October 18, 2007, I stumbled across grandpaloren's "Johnny Bright Cache", which had been muggled. I retrieved the container and a few scattered contents and offered to return them to him. Grandpaloren graciously suggested that I use the container to plant a new cache, which I have done.
This cache is named for Johnny Bright, despite it no longer being located in the park that bears his name. Bright was a star football player, and retired as the all time leading rusher in CFL history (later passed by Mike Pringle and George Reed). Bright died in 1983 while undergoing surgery to repair a torn knee ligament.
VE6KIM also pointed out that Mr. Bright was an educator in his post-football life. He later became a principal at a junior high school, and was well respected by his students.
