Geocache Description:


The new station was built in 2015 to replace the aging station as it was too small and with the having 4 fireman stationed here now. We moved in in Jan. of 2016. It is to put out to honer the men and women who protect our public in times of need.Do not worry about the fireman at the station I might be one of them,also they know about the cache being there.Be looking for more like this to come.Just a little history,the Gordon County Fire Dept. was established in 1965,it has 11 stations 3 of which are full time the others are volunteer,two of the full time stations are combination.
