Tarzan's Revenged Traditional Cache

Easy walk from off the road parking. Even better is to bike UT313, a wonderful ride with a generous shoulder. This area may be wet after a rain.
This is off of one of my favorite rides, UT313 to Canyonlands. Incredible views further on. In the fall, when we placed this, the wash is ablaze in yellow. And green tamarisk, whitemans imported invasion of our riverbanks. I could have made it a very difficult find in that vegetation, like that when we found the container, but ....
We originally obtained this cache container from Tarzan's Revenge cache in Mission, Texas where we were caching one afternoon. After we found this cache, the property owner saw us crawling out of the VERY DENSE vegetation on his property and thought we were drug dealers. After crawling back into that jungle with him to retrieve the cache and explaining to him what geocaching was and showing him the posting in GSAK on our laptop, he informed the arriving local police, whom he had called, that everything was ok but insisted that the cache be removed. WHEW! Tarzan's Revenged.
Update: The cover of the cache has seen better days. This can be a wet area so PLEASE BE SURE LID IS SECURE AS POSSIBLE.
Also there is now a wire fence/gate blocking easy access. Do not let this deter you as it is public land.
