Located in West Lawn Cemetery in Mantua Ohio off SR 82.
This cemetery could have some historic men in it but for once I don’t care, my grandpas here. I only knew him for awhile for I was 8 when he died. I see him as a friendly old man who bought my brother and I candy, threw the football to us inside the house, took us fishing, and offered to take me up in the bucket of his crane(my mom killed that idea). As I have grown older I learned he was quite a character and most viewed him a bit different then me.
Was it the time that he got in a fight even though he had a broken arm so he used a 2x4 and won, or when him and his friends rode their motorcycles into a lake, what about when he would wake up all the neighbors with dynamite from one of his gravel pits, all these instances and many more earned my grandfather the reputation of being a real SOB.
I wish he would have been around longer; we would have had some real fun for sure.
I should have hidden this one harder; he probably would enjoy watching you geocachers wander around like morons.
Cache is a 35mm canister, bring a pen. Open Dawn till Dusk.
