It lives deep in the
forest... Always hungry, always searching for it's next meal!
It hides in trees and hollow logs and reaches out to grab
unsuspecting geocachers in their never-ending search for
Tupperware. If you search for this cache... Beware the
creature!
The first time I saw the Creature of the Greenbelt was
several years ago in early 2002 when geocaching was relatively
new to everyone, I came across it doing one of 300Mag's caches
and it was pretty freaky. It was my second find. In homage to
that great cache, long since muggled, the creature returns for
GAG 11!
The cache is at the posted
coordinates, about 15 meters away near a huge boulder. This is an
effort to keep the cache away from it's guardian in case muggles
happen to find the creature itself. The creature is actually pretty
accommodating. He'll pose for pictures with you on the nearby
boulder if you ask nice.
