Geocache Description:

Welcome back to Quarry Hill Park...Near the Quarry Hill Nature Center.

Credit where credit is due...I just found out that the cache that used to be located here (at least near here) was archived back in August...sad to see a cache go. I figured the next best thing would be to hide one here and let others find it (maybe even the original placer will be by soon to claim a find in this great area)!!!

There are many ways in which one can reach this cache...the "direct" route is the one rated...I also believe the "direct" route is the most difficult...so, this one can be much easier with a little patience. Be sure to take your camera with you...the view up here is great (keep in mind you really need to avoid looking in the direction of the Recycling Center and Waste to Energy Buildings).

As with most parks taken care of by the Rochester Park and Recreation Department, Quarry Hill Park is only open from Dawn until Dusk each day. Use stealth and please cover the cache well when you are done to help prevent muggles in this area…there will be muggles of the Nature Enjoying Variety (and sometimes school/education groups). To help preserve the area, cache is located close to the trail.
