This short event is synchronized with flash mobs around the world!
"For geocachers by geocachers" Flash mobs are a new thing that
popped up in society thanks to the prevalence of the internet in
all its forms. Lets be all we can be, the goal is 5,000 cachers
worldwide! You're heard of mega-events? This is quite the opposite
in a variety of ways. Flash mobs have gathered for other reasons
and now for geocaching. Come be part of this historic event!
The event will last exactly 15 minutes, not one second longer.
We will have a schedule of events at the event.
Here is what you can expectfor this event:
Remember to use the GPS time as the official clock for the event.
No one is to be at Ground Zero until the clock strikes Noon - until
then just mill around the area as if you were any other muggle.
Here is what the Itinerary looks like:
12:00 - a bucket of swag and log sheets will be placed at ground
zero for trading and logging. Only those whose names appear on a
log sheet can count the event
12:07 Meal time -Free pizza and cheesecake(Pizza flavored combos
and hershey kisses)
12:09 Group Photo - everybody please be quick about this one
12:11 Raffle tickets for prizes ( FTF honors, unactivated geocoin,
3 unactivated TB tag's, cache container w/swag)
12:13 CITO of the area (use container received at start)
12:14 One Minute Warning - get ready to vacate but don't act like
it
12:15 - Event concludes and everyone disperses
The video will run a couple of minutes longer to see everyone
leaving
That's it - 15 minutes and then we are outta there!
After the event you can get together away from ground zero to chat
or do some group caching in the area.
