Inside the Library, the ghost of former library director Fant
Thornley haunts the third floor auditorium and stacks. Thornley's
ghost likes to swing open doors and run the elevator when no one
else is in the building. His signature Chesterfield cigarette smoke
can be smelled at times even if there is no physical evidence of
one being lit. An electrician working in the building reported a
man appearing out of nowhere who began speaking to him; the
electrician refuses to go to the third floor alone now.
