The Eastern White Pine is a member of the Pinus group, subgenus Strobus. It is the provincial tree of Ontario and we have them in abundance on our property. It can be readily distinguished by its needle bundles of 5 as opposed to the Red or Norway Pine which has 2 needles per cluster.
This is an easy cache near our property...but don't let that scare you off...we can't see you from the house. Of course, if you see me out shovelling the driveway in the winter I do have a second & third shovel!! Seriously, if you see us out & about don't hesitate to stop & talk...we're cachers too.
Cache is a camo'd Nutello jar (sorry, I have a sweet tooth so its all gone) suitable for small trade items.
Congratulations to Guardian 14 & Pooky 14 on the FTF.
1:00 am!!!....you guys are incredible.
