This cache has been placed in a relatively new memorial/village green in Lake Grove, New York--The Lake Grove Village Green. The cache is in an urban area and as such provides safety from PI and ticks!! A sign says that the park closes at dark, but there is no gate from the street.
The cache is actually a nano and as such has no room for SWAG or a writing tool. You must provide your own pen/pencil which will write on Tyvek. When replacing the log sheet, please put the scroll in the cap so it doesn't get stuck in the threads. (Please remember that you MUST sign the log before you log your find on geocaching.com.)
Also, since this is a memorial area, please know that there is NO NEED to explore in or trample on any of the plantings in the Village Green.
