badlands: Seems that the object the cache was attached to was removed and replaced with a new one and the cache was taken away with the old.

As the cache was starting to cause rust on the object it was attached to, I'm electing not to replace it as I'd rather not do any damage to the new object.

Geocache Description:


Often while driving past this oasis of water and manicured grass I wonder why there isn’t a cache here …………maybe none of the throngs that pass daily are geocachers ……..maybe they don’t now about this place ……….

Yesterday I stopped and discovered that to place a cache here would invite destruction of the landscaping and stress the swans that make this oasis home in the spring, summer and fall ………. well we can’t have that ……..it can’t be anywhere that you would disturb the swans or the landscaping ………. maybe a magnetic key holder under the bench ……….but that would encourage the cache and dash approach …………… we just can’t encourage that either …… how to get people to stop and enjoy the oasis, linger a bit and enjoy what most only see as a blur as they speed by.

Today I stopped again and sat on a bench which is where the posted coordinates will bring you and I looked around, took in the sights and then thought ……… why hide it at all ……………..place it right there ………….in plain sight …… yes, right there …… where you can see it …….….from the bench …..

Of course I didn’t want to make it too easy so I camo’d it up a bit ……… you know…..to fool the muggle crowd ……

Now it’s your turn, go out there and enjoy the oasis and maybe, just maybe, if you're lucky, you may get a smiley as a bonus.

Don’t forget, it’s right there in plain sight, and you may not even have to leave the sidewalk.
