The cache is an ammo box located within a small community park located in the Thornhill/Markham area. The cache is named after my dog Merlin who I was with when I placed the cache quite a few years ago, sadly he passed in March of 2018. RIP to one of my best friends.
The cache is a small, camouflaged ammo box with a log book and pen along with several trade items. The box is large enough to hold quite a few travel bugs, coins and other swag. Should be a relatively quick find. There is some minor slope towards the last few metres of the cache location, so use caution during wet or icy conditions. Parking can be had in the street adjacent to the park where the cache is located, or at one of several entrances to this park . I have left two unactivated MRJIFFY Team Geocache Hockey Jersey coins as prizes, one each for the FTF and the Second to find! Discover the cache, and you will also discover Merlin who accompanied me when I placed this particular geocache!
