I has come to my attention that we have some visitors to the area
who'd like to meet some fellow local cachers in Osceola National
Forest. You are invited to enjoy Food and Fellowship with your
fellow cachers. There will be geocaching related door prizes and a
discussion of the accessible areas of the forest.
This is the opening weekend of General Gun Hunting so any after
event caching will need to stick to the numbered roads and jeep
trails. You might also want to avoid wearing hats with fluffy white
tails.
I'll have bagels, cream chese and OJ and a couple cases of water.
Anyone who wants a sugar fix may want to bring some Krispy Kremes.
Anyone with enough imagination to get some hot coffee out here
would be greatly appreaciated.
The event location is on the Columbia County side of the Ocseola
National Forest. It is a short distance from the graded FR 215.
