In days of yore,
peace and justice ruled the land. The counsel of wizards
protected the people of the fair village of Madison, from all
elements of evil; but most importantly the dreaded Muggle
Monster. The muggle monster loved to steal caches from
the fair town folk. After suffering many years of this
harrasment, the town folk appealed to the wizards for relief.
The wizards warned that far worse things than losing caches were
out there, but the town people pressed for the removal of the
Muggle Monster. Finally the council of wizards
relented, and agreed to send their strongest and wisest wizard,
David the Invisible, to face this evil foes.
Now the council
was most concerned about this confrontation, for the power of the
Muggle Monster was great. It was feared that this would turn
into a full scale war. Not much is known about the encounter
between David and this fearsome monster, except the
following:
-
David placed
magical markers around the layer of the Muggle Monster. Most
mortals are unable to see these markers, but it is said that the
most legendary of geocachers sometime catch glimpses of these
markers at night.
-
David fell to his
demise along with the Muggle Monster in this great encounter in the
center of the muggle moster abode. At this site it is
rumored that the last of the caches stolen by the evil Muggle
Monster lies. Very near this cache lies the staff of this
giant in history. Some say that legendary geocachers
sometimes can see the staff at night. Some even say the
staff points the way to the cache!
-
This site in the
center of the monstors abode is about 50' from each of the magical
markers
-
The posted
coordinates take you to the archway leading the the monter's
abode. The arch is also marked with majical markers, with an
arrow pointing toward the abode.
