Matagorda Micro 4x4 Traditional Cache

Team CountryStylin: A good friend of mine told me this one has gone missing. He is someone who knows this cache and what it looks like. So therefore we are archiving this cache. It actually stayed in play for quite awhile, and survived a hurricane that wiped most caches off of this beach! Thanks for everyone who came and looked!

Geocache Description:

Not the closest, and not the farthest. Somewhere in the middle. This beach needs more caches!

Well, if you are going to take the time and burn the fuel to do the caches on this beach, might as well have plenty of them to hunt for!

We thought this beach needed at least one "dreaded micro" to give people something to complain about.

This cache has a very small log only. No pen/ no trinkets. The cache container is metal and has a water-tite screw down lid.

You do not have to leave the beach to find it. As with all of the caches on this beautiful beach, bring a 4x4 vehicle unless you are arriving by helicopter or by sea. The sand is deep and very dry so you could very easily get stuck without a 4x4.

Bring a picnic lunch and an ice chest and enjoy the beautiful scenery!
