Golfing Cowboys - SH&MB Golf Tour Series Traditional Cache

Cache is a 1 litre lock-n-lock, located beside Highway 1X, just east of Highway 1A. You can park on a small, gated, access road a little further East of the cache. We have rated it 1.5 as it is not wheel chair accessible, but is is very easy terrain.

Cowboys like Golf too you know, and here in Alberta one Cowboy liked it so much he decided to build a Golf Course on his Guest Ranch. He started with 9 holes and is now up to 14 and working on another four. This course is known as Brewster's Kananaskis Ranch Golf Resort, and the cowboy is Bud Brewster.

We started Golfing here on a regular basis five years ago and what better place to locate a cache than just out side the Golf Course fence near the fifth green, where ScouterHerb had the extreme good fortune to shoot a hole-in-one in 2006.

The cache is not on the course but outside the fence in trees. However you will have watch for muggles, and not just the golfers inside the fence, as there may also be mounted muggles between you and the highway, as a Trail Riding path runs along the outside of the trees (This means watch your step when follow that trail to a point near the cache!).

The cache originally contained a Log Book, Pen, FTF Card, and numerous little people trade items.
