Geocache Description:

This is the Edmonton Outdoor Club's first geocache!!!

The hike couldn't have been on a more beautiful day. We hiked the long route and took a detour along the waterfront. This ended in a bit of a scramble over the rather large river bank through some thorny things,
but we managed.

Eventually, we came across a benchmark (brass thing in the ground used for topographic map surveys) and decided to place the cache nearby. We filled the cache with goodies and Jason and Shirley planted it.

This is a small camo'd canister with various trinkets inside.
