Geocache Description:

NOTE: THERE IS NO PUBLIC ACCESS VIA MIDVALE MOUNTAIN ROAD!!(UNLESS YOU HAVE MADE RESERVATIONS TO BE THERE) You can reach this from any of the other trails. (either from the skyline drive or ramapo reservation areas)

A short distance down the road and we'll see Mother's Pavillion. Originally a structure in a corner of the parking lot, this new version contains the concrete compass rose from the original structure. In the early days of camp, women were not allowed into the camp during the summer, so they waited there for their sons to come down to visit them. Today, you can stop and sit there for a while and rest while you have a cool drink from your back pack. This new structure was buit to honor the memory of Scouter Nancy Gasser Please place the cache exactly where you found it and make sure it is closed securely.
