Geocache Description:

Cache is at lovely Dinner Falls on the Atherton Tablelands. From the Crater car park at S 17º 25.696 E 145º 29.170, the walk to Dinner Falls is a well constructed walking path through magnificent rainforest down along a tumbling creek which is the head waters of the Baron River.

The cache has been changed to the Western side of the stream. Because most GPSs will not give a very accurate reading, if any reading, these instructions are important.
1. Stand on the start of the concrete weir.
2. If you have a compass take bearing 292º
3. If no compass, Face the middle of the falls. Imagine the falls at 12 O'clock and look to about 1.30.
You will be looking at a rocky bank. There are very few stones that can be moved, but one can. It is at the base of a much larger rock.
The cache rock is like no other around. A geologist would be very surprised and even excited to find such a rock in this place until he examined it.
As it is in a very busy tourist area, please re-hide it as found. As it is now a Micro, don't forget to bring your own pen to sign the log. No room for swag.
My co-ordinates are S 17º25.594' E 145º29.280' I'd be interested to know if anyone manages to find it using the co-ordinates. Good Luck and Good hunting! Dan
