As we sat in a local diner having a nice lunch. We over heard the concerns of some locals. They had mentioned the strange happenings out in the country. Dolphin asked an old woman what had happened. The old woman told us the Headless Horseman was seen in the area. And at the first sighting a family's dog, Stumpy, came up missing. Yogi asked her to show us the area where the sightings occurred. He was convinced this would be the perfect opportunity to freak Dolphin out a bit. The old woman rode with us out to the location of the first sighting and where we have placed this cache. She told us that a nearby family had realized at dinner that Stumpy was not in the yard. So after a hurried meal the father went walking down the road calling out to the valued pet. Apparently the cherish little fella had made his way out of the yard before and got lost. Then all of a sudden the air got very cold and the drizzle of rain that was falling began to feel like little knives. Feeling the quick approach of someone he turned to see the Headless Horseman raising his way. He quickly ran into the woods to avoid the evil spirit and quickly ran. They have yet to find Stumpy. Some say the dog ran off after seeing what the father saw and others simply believe the poor thing was offed by the evil Horseman. Beware of the possible haunting spirits. Be sure you talk to some of the locals about the lore of this place and post any stories they share.
