Geocache Description:

This is an easy log-only micro cache on a popular paved bike trail with parking about a half mile away.

This 40-acre Fort Collins Natural Area provides habitat for a high diversity of migant and resident songbirds and watefowl. The cottonwoods provide a winter roosting site for great blue herons. Yellow-headed blackbirds nest in the cattails (from the Nature Next Door brochure). Come on out an enjoy a quiet walking or biking experience in a really lovely, woodsy, pondsy part of town. Its an easy half-mile walk from parking. Bring your geopen. This sprout, from Mcminks' "Disc"covery cache over in Greeley (GC1515B), is a log-only micro. The search area is circumscribed. NO BUSHWHACKING.

FTF congratulations to markdj!
