Geocache Description:

This is at an abandoned homestead dating back to just after World War Two. The site is readily visible from Hwy 111 in the Bombay Beach area and it is considered a landmark.

The water tower at the homestead is constructed from a large WW2 Drop Tank from an airplane.

There are a number of abandoned structures surrounding the cache site.

The cache is a medium sized cookie tin filled with swag. it is located about 15' from the tank structure protected from the elements by a galvanized roof. You won't find it on the ground.
