This 2-stage multi will take you up the east peak of Cedar Mountain. It's one of the 3 geocaches that contain the information needed to find the unknown geocache "Rocky Raccoon's Playground". To find that you gather info from this multicache as well as from the 2 nearby geocaches: the puzzle geocache "Walk the Plank or. . ." and the traditional "Cedar Mountain Wandering".
To do the area I recommended: First solve and find "Walk the plank or..." (GC17H86), then Post Roundup, Groot'$ Bank, Elves Explore the Forest, Cedar Mountain Wandering, and Trailside Stop. Then continue past Trailside Stop to the road back to parking near the boat launch at Spring Lake. Along the way you also can finish this cache and find the final to Rocky Raccoon's Playground. For this multicache, WP 1 is a large micro and includes the hint for the final. The final is a .30 cal ammo can. It's about 1.2 miles to WP 1, return route is longer and the round trip is about 3 miles. The final container was recycled from the old and original Trail Walkers U-Turn cache (GCRKM3) hidden in 2005 before they paved the Soos Creek Trail. It was recycled before and contains some of the old McToys. I also included a Starbucks card (unknown amount) for the FTF, Project Ape Geocoin, a TB, AA batteries and a Skeeter Guard patch.
