The name of this creek is actually Thunderbolt Creek.
When my boys were young, they had several turtles one of which was a snapping turtle named Chomper. Chomper started out as a baby but grew so big that he was eventually living in our bathtub. When we were preparing to take an extended vacation one summer, we decided it was time to release Chomper back into the wild. This is the creek that became Chomper's new home. This cache is a micro - log only so bring your own pencil. I was able to squeeze in a Kansas Sunshine Geocoin to get it started.
