Merci de me contacter si cette cache peut être réactivée. En attendant, elle est archivée pour permettre éventuellement à un autre géocacheur d'en placer une dans le secteur.

This cache is hidden near an abandoned and collapsed church or chapel on the edge of the grounds of a château. You can easily make this part of a round walk of about 2 miles or so, with a bit along an almost traffic-free road.
The cache is a medium sized tupperware box with the following initial contents:
- Purple hair grip
- Carrot pin/badge
- Dice
- Dog with walkman figure
- UK geocachers badge
- Log book and pencil
This cache is close to an old abandoned church. You do not have to enter the church. It's just off the path that runs down the side wall of the church and should be easy enough to find, though GPS coverage can be a bit patchy.
If recommend approaching the cache from the east - you can park at the bottom of the hill at roughly N 44.393438 E 0.889378 (a crossroads) and walk up into the wood following the path. Once you've found the cache, you can either turn around and go back, or keep going to get some good views of the château.
The path ends up in someone's front drive - you can following this down and end up on the road (and walk along it back to your car), or you can instead go left through the gate just before the drive and go along the top of the hill in front of the château. This gives you some good imposing views of the château above you. You'll end up on the château's drive which you can follow round in a large curve and reach the road. When you reach the road, turn right and take the first road on the right and follow that past the old cemetery to get back to the crossroads where you started.
Alternatively, make up your own route, there are quite a number of different ways you can go! I recommend looking at a local map before you go, just in-case. It happens to be literally on the border of two maps - half on one half on another. The church is marked on maps as a ruined church. I'll try to draw a map to put up here when I get time.
