The cache is hidden at Grenada Lake. Take your hiking boots. The trail to the left is longer (1.3mi). Though the trail to the right (.5mi) may be closer it is more difficult terrain. Either way provides a great hike for this area. I'd recommend that you make the entire loop.
Clean up and improvements along the trail make this one of the best hikes in north Mississippi. Steep hillside climbs can now be made on steps installed by Corp of Engineers.
Benches were repaired plus three new benches were added as rest stops along the trail. Food sources were planted to draw more wildlife to the area. Trees downed by hurricane Katrian were removed from the trail. The view from the cache location is back. This work was done as Boy Scout Eagle projects.
Along the trail be sure to locate waymarking.com Grenada Lake Lost Bluff Survey Mark.
