Eastern Bluebird Multi-Cache
OReviewer: As there's been no cache to find for a long time or has had no owner response for at least 30 days, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.
Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Nice walk on a trail through the Preserve. This area is dedicated to promoting Birding. It has a variety of habitats that offer great Birding throughout the year. This Cache is placed with Permission. Thanks, Jon for working with me on placing this cache.
The cache is hidden just off a trail with some interesting plant life, and if your lucky, you may even see some of the locale wildlife. Easy walking, but is slightly hilly. There are benches at different locations along this trail. This will allow some place to relax and sit a spell. Bushwacking is not needed. Enjoy the quiet and keep a sharp eye out for the cache’s name sake. These birds are now slowly becoming common once again.
Eastern Blue Birds measure 6 1/2 inches in length. The male has bright blue upper parts, reddish breast, and white belly. The female has a buffy throat and breast, grayish-blue head and back with light blue wings and tail.
Bluebirds can be found in rural gardens, orchards, and suburban gardens near open farmland. Their arrival in early spring is a sure sign that winter is on the way out.
Once declining in population, Bluebirds are making a comeback. Due in part to the bird watching public placing bird houses to attract these sky blue beauties.
You might find it interesting to know that the bluebird was once as common as the American Robin.
Numbers declined in part, from nest competition with House Sparrows and the European Starling. Loss of habitat is another factor.
