Geocache Description:

The Secret Staveley Series was designed as a circular walk starting and finishing in Staveley village.

The path continues along the fence and walls. Take a look back and you can see the weir at Barley Bridge.
Just before the next stile you can enter Craggy Wood and visit Holly’s Den, GCVFQR.
The views open out now and you can see up to the Kentmere fells. Continue on the obvious path up to the next stile. The views now open out to the Howgill fells.
Follow the path down over more stiles and go between the white houses and the barns. Turn left on to the minor road, ignore footpath on the left. As you walk you are looking right up to the Kentmere fells.
On the right there is an interesting dried up pond. There are often many birds in the trees along this lane.
Where this road meets another road at a barn turn left and proceed to Wild Woods(3)GC173Q8.
