Geocache Description:

This cache is called “Longcut # 2” because the first “Longcut” is on the same route to Spring City from SR132 as this cache is. It can also be had from Hwy 89 at N39° 29.370 W111° 30.861, or from hwy 117 at N 39° 29.295 W 111° 29.772.

Yea, both these roads will get you between some of the local towns around the area, or between two of the major highways that pass through the Sanpete Valley, but this route takes longer than any other way does, so hence the name. “Longcut” & Longcut # 2”, are short little back-country drives you will enjoy if you like driving off the beaten path. It’s always a well graded road, but it can get muddy and won't get plowed soon after a good snowfall, so you folks who drive cars keep this in mind. Early in the mornings or late in the evenings you may see some deer or elk out in the fields... we even saw a moose running around here a couple of years ago.
