Geocache Description:


Some locals probably still remember the "Devils' Triangle". That area bounded by the Golden Ox (The Patio), The Ponderosa Bowl and The Stone House. All excellent places to unwind at the end of the day. Many sampled from each of these three close proximity thirst parlors in an evening. Not that I would join in these type of activities. Hey! It was the seventies, after all. So, here's to all those patrons that got to enjoy the days of the "Devils' Triangle", because nary a one of these beloved places remain as extablishments of fine libations. To find the cache you must go to the above coordinates and find a number on a wooden power pole. This is very close to the geographical center of the "Devils' Triangle". Subtract 1766 from the number and add your answer to the last 3 digits in the North Coordinates. Subtract 845 from the number and add your answer to last 4 digits of the West coordinates. Go to these coords for the cache. Up the road a little further you will have a birds eye view of the "Devils' Triangle". The drive is easy, the walking is tougher. There is an item for the FTF and a pencil, but I know you all carry pens just in case. Good idea. Have fun and thanks for stopping by.FTF: Catchandrelease
