Canada Celebrates

The International and Universal Exposition, or simply Expo 67, was held in Montreal, from Apr 27 - Oct 29, 1967. Considered to be the most successful World's Fair of the 20th century, with over 50 million visitors and 62 nations participating. It also set the single-day attendance record for a world's fair with 569,000 visitors on its third day. By all accounts this was the place to be that summer, famous visitors included Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson, US Prez Lyndon Johnson, Queen Elizabeth II, among others.
