The 5th Christmas Coroboree.
Fun starts 12.30 onwards
Hi everyone, it's that time of the year again. We have arranged the 5th annual Christmas Coroboree back at the usual venue. This has been a great success over the years & is an ideal opportunity to meet up with old friends & make some new ones (or at least put faces to names.)
The venue has changed management since last time & the catering arrangements have altered slightly. For anyone wanting to eat, there will be a daily specials board offering a range of main courses, I have had a word with the Chef, explaining that we would most likely just want a light lunch & he has offered to do hot baguettes from the carvery, so there should be something for everyone.
There's the usual range of beers plus a couple of hand pulled cask ales, if you just want to pop in, have a drink & say hello.
I will be archiving the "Seasons Grunting" multi, in order to free up space for something else on the day. If anyone else wants to set up a cache in the area, then please drop me a line.
In addition to the usual shenanigans, we will be collecting old mobile phones on the day. This is part of a fund raising effort by a group of "A" level students to raise money for an expedition to Costa Rica to work in local communities, they will be assisting in land & education projects to help improve the lot of people less fortunate than us. If you have any old mobiles, working or not in any condition, then this is an ideal opportunity to help a good cause & recycle at the same time.
