Geocache Description:

From Hwy 191 take Hwy 313 to the Horsethief Campground turnoff. The road is in good condition and can probably be made in a 2 wheel drive vehicle if it hasn't rained recently.

The cache is named for a rock formation which when seen from the right direction and with a little imagination resembles a giant totem pole. There is ample parking near the cache and a very short walk will get you there. The container is a cammo-taped, large plastic pill bottle with small trade items which includes some hand-made beaded jewelry.

There are many side trails on the way to the cache, one of which leads to an awesome overlook above the Hell Roaring Canyon. All the side trails we took require ATV, 4 wheel drive or bicycle.
