Geocache Description:

Ammo box with lots of goodies.

UPDATE: While the access road might be closed in winter, it's only a 600 metre hike, according to BVPete.

The road that leads to this location (the North Forest Demonstration Loop) turns off from Highway 68 (Sibbald Creek Trail) at 51 02.780' N, 114 47.456' W. From there, drive until you see a wooden structure at the top of a hill. There is a road leading up that way, and you can park just behind that wooden structure.

As I was searching for the nearby Sawmill cache (GCZ59E), I saw a pretty wooden structure at the top of the hill and hiked up around there. I found two trees hugging each other (awwwwwwww). I apologized if I had been intruding, but they said that they were very happy trees and they asked me about the ammo box I was holding. I told them about geocaching, and they said I could hide it under them.

Be careful when opening the ammo box. The lid fits fairly tight, and I don't want anyone to bonk themselves on the nose when the lid flies open. Some interesting goodies in there, including a BookCrossing book.
